Mona Lisa is summoned to a High Court Council Meeting to be questioned about the murder of another queen. Mona Lisa did, apparently, play a part in the death of said queen, but she is not about to reveal certain details that would make her involvement obvious.
Before she can even begin to be questioned, Mona Lisa becomes in strangely affected by the presence of a demon princess (and the sister of her lover, Prince Halcyon) Lucinda and suddenly finds herself in excruciating agony! Her guards, Donatine and Tomas take her far into the forest, away from Lucinda and the agony she apparently brings forth in Mona Lisa. After fleeing to the apparent safety of the forest, Mona Lisa begins to learn of a whole other/new side of her self. One that is not only extremely surprising, but can be quite dangerous, to those around her, as well. Only one man can help her through the discovery. Once man who’s already offered of himself and of whom she has already turned down.
With plenty of steamy erotica, the talent of Sunny and very apparent. But, for those who have not yet read any of the Children of the Moon Series, this short can be somewhat hard to follow. Even so, it has left this particular reader very much interested in reading more!
