I don't just read a book; I "crawl" right into one.
I read, I devour, and I consume every last word until the story is running like a movie through my brain!

Alpha & Omega (On The Prowl Anthology) by Patricia Briggs

As a huge fan of Patricia Briggs, I wasn’t surprised at how much I enjoyed Alpha & Omega! Briggs has an amazing talent and continues to create a world that readers can “crawl” right into!

Anna, a fairly young Were, who was recently turned against her will, calls for the help of the Marrok, after she reads a news article about the suspicious death of a young boy.  Already headed to Chicago to attend to pack business, Charles’ priorities are redirected to deal with this new development. When Anna and Charles meet outside the airport, their worlds “collide”!

Full of growth, self-realization, self-control, and intense emotion, Alpha & Omega is the perfect introduction to Patricia Briggs’ Alpha & Omega Series! Anna and Charles’ story continues in “Cry Wolf”, Book One of the series.

The Alpha & Omega Series by Patricia Briggs

Book 1 - Cry Wolf
(From the Publisher)
Anna never knew werewolves existed until the night she survived a violent attack .... and become one herself. After three years at the bottom of the pack, she'd learned to keep her head down and never, ever trust dominant males. But Anna is that rarest kind of werewolf: an Omega. And one of the most powerful werewolves in the country will recognize her value as a pack member - and as his mate.

Book 2 - Hunting Ground

(From the Publisher)
Anne Latham didn't know how complicated life could be until she became a werewolf. And until she was mated to Charles Cornick, the son--and enforcer--of Bran, the leader of the North American werewolves, she didn't know how dangerous it could be either...

Anna and Charles have just been enlisted to attend a summit to present Bran's controversial proposition: that the wolves should finally reveal themselves to humans. But the most feared Alpha in Europe is dead set against the plan--and it seems like someone else might be, too. When Anna is attacked by vampires using pack magic, the kind of power only werewolves should be able to draw on, Charles and Anna must combine their talents to hunt down whoever is behind it all--or risk losing everything...

Thanks for stopping by Katie! I am a big fan of Patricia's Mercy Thompson series so I am definitely looking forward to this one! Even more so after reading the prequel!

I absolutely love this series. Sometimes I think I like Alpha and Omega even more than Mercy. I think that's because the relationship between Anna and Charles is so well written. They are both a bit confused about their relationship and how to move it forward. It's so much fun to watch them figure it out. I re-read this novella and the two novels every couple of months and I don't do that with any other series.

I did like these books too. But I think I like the Mercy Thompson series better (can't wait for the next one).

It was easy to get into this new series (after reading Mercy). And I did like the characters of Anna and Charles. But Mercy's my gal.
